Silhouette Design Architecture Announces Director of Projects Michele L. Larimer as Newest Partner
Chicago, IL – October 14, 2025 – Silhouette Design Architecture is proud to announce that Michele L. Larimer has been named Partner of the firm. This milestone recognizes Ms. Larimer’s exceptional leadership, dedication to design excellence, and transformative contributions to the firm’s growth and culture over the past six years.
Since joining Silhouette in 2019, Ms. Larimer has played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s national project portfolio, particularly within complex, high-traffic, high-visibility hospitality, retail, dining and non-traditional environments. As Director of Projects, she has led interdisciplinary teams and coordinated with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver design solutions that are both operationally efficient and richly contextual. Her work consistently reflects Silhouette’s commitment to design that tells a story—rooted in place, purpose, and possibility.

With a dual Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and Urban Design from the University of Colorado Denver, and a professional background that bridges nonprofit, development, and public art, Michele brings a uniquely holistic perspective to Silhouette’s work. Michele’s career spans over 15 years of experience in project management, design oversight, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining Silhouette, she led projects for Levy Restaurants, where she managed large-scale, fast-paced renovations and new construction within iconic sports and cultural venues including Levi’s Stadium, the Field Museum, and ISM Raceway. Her earlier roles with Theaster Gates' ArtHouse initiative in Gary, Indiana, and as co-owner of Hulse Design + Build, demonstrated her ability to unite design thinking with community impact, fabrication expertise, and entrepreneurial leadership.
As Partner, Michele will continue to guide the firm's project execution strategy while mentoring emerging leaders and deepening client partnerships nationwide.
